The family estate now led by Rodolphe Péters works more than 19 hectares, chiefly around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant and Avize. Its Chardonnay wines show two distinct approaches to place and time.
A multi-village reserve
Cuvée de Réserve is a Blanc de Blancs assembled from grand cru Côte des Blancs Chardonnay and wines from multiple harvests. The producer says the flagship blend draws on more than twenty years of harvests.
One lieu-dit, three plots
Les Chétillons comes from three old-vine parcels in a named Le Mesnil-sur-Oger lieu-dit. Péters vinifies each parcel separately, then blends their wines into a vintage Blanc de Blancs made only in selected years. The three plots form one vineyard designation; calling it a single plot would erase the producer’s own distinction.
The estate offers reserved tours and tastings when available, with seasonal breaks around the harvest and fermentation.
