Amid old stone and mountain slopes, this hidden spot has put Biel on Aragón’s gastronomic map. The dining room, all wood and hunting trophies, feels like a rural refuge with a curious spirit. Aragonese cuisine dares to flirt with innovation without losing its roots , in dishes such as venison croquettes, the village baker’s migas , wild boar cannelloni or squid with roe deer in a Korean style. Among the desserts, the five-cheese tart steals the show. It’s not on the way to anywhere, but it’s well worth the detour. A great discovery .
