Apolline Henriot founded the house in 1808, working with vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. Chardonnay entered its story later: the house dates that change to Paul Henriot’s 1880 marriage to Marie Marguet, whose family held Côte des Blancs grand cru vineyards.
Blending across generations
Blanc Souverain is made entirely from Chardonnay, assembled from 12 crus with reserve wines and aged for at least three years. Hemera pairs Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from six historic grand cru villages, divided between the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The two wines show different uses of the vineyards that joined the house over time.

Alice Tétienne is the cellar master named on Henriot’s current technical sheets. Terroirs & Vignerons de Champagne completed its acquisition of the house in 2023. The founder’s name remains on the label, while Tétienne leads its present cellar work.
