i. Biography
Adolf Störzel is associated with Weingut Adolf Störzel in Rüdesheim am Rhein, a family-run Rheingau winery focused on Riesling and Spätburgunder. After completing his winemaking apprenticeship, he expanded the estate from a small holding to a 10-hectare wine-growing operation, and current listings is the estate’s owner and part of the family management. The estate has been based on the outskirts of Rüdesheim in the vineyards, with tastings held at the Bassenheimer Hof in central Rüdesheim.
