Alain Pégouret

Alain Pégouret is a French chef associated with Le Sergent Recruteur in Paris, which he took over in 2019 and where he is chef-proprietor. Before that, he spent nearly two decades in the kitchen of Le Laurent in Paris, and the restaurant under his direction at Le Sergent Recruteur earned a Michelin star. He is also credited with bringing a signature, refined French style to the restaurant on Île Saint-Louis.
