Alfredo Santiago is the vineyard foreman at Montinore Estate in Forest Grove, Oregon, where he has worked for about 40 years and leads pruning, harvest, and crush-pad operations. He began as an informal apprentice at age 18 and advanced into senior leadership while training and supervising vineyard crews. He was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and built his career in Oregon winegrowing after farming and field work in the region.
