Aretah Ettarh

Aretah Ettarh is the Chef de Cuisine at Gramercy Tavern in New York City, where she works alongside Executive Chef Michael Anthony to shape the restaurant’s seasonal menu. The Gramercy Tavern team says she officially joined as a line cook in 2016, and her rise to Chef de Cuisine made her only the third person to hold that role in the restaurant’s 30-year history. She is a Nigerian-American chef who was born and raised in New Jersey and earned culinary training at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone.
