The Work Today

At Domaine Christian Salmon, Armand Salmon works with stainless steel and no oak treatment. That choice keeps the wines direct, precise, and easy to read, with the fruit and terroir left to carry the frame. The cellar method is restrained by design, favoring clarity over embellishment and keeping the expression close to what is already in the wine. That restraint also defines the house approach. The work favors attention over excess, and clean execution over effects, with the vineyard and cellar treated as connected parts of the same discipline.

Signature

Armand Salmon’s signature wines include Cuvée Silex 2007 and Les Chailloux 2023. Cuvée Silex 2007 shows the domaine’s ability to hold age and definition in the same glass, while Les Chailloux 2023 points to a more immediate reading of the house style. Read together, they show a cellar approach that stays close to terroir and does not rely on heavy framing to make its point.
