i. Biography
Basmah Marouf is a Kuwaiti chef and the founder behind Cantina in Kuwait City, where she is the executive chef and/or managing partner. Cantina opened in November 2023 in Shuwaikh Industrial and is presented as a Mediterranean restaurant with a strong Italian influence. Before Cantina, she built her reputation as executive chef at Madison & Heig in Kuwait.
