Benjamin Vimal

Benjamin Vimal is Director of Winemaking and Estate Operations at Château Margaux. The estate announced his appointment on May 6, 2026, following more than twelve years managing vineyards in the Médoc. An agricultural engineer and oenologist trained in Bordeaux, he previously served as technical director and deputy managing director of a Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé. At Margaux he is responsible for the technical and operational work that connects vineyard farming, harvest decisions, cellar execution, and the long-term stewardship of the First Growth estate.
