i. Biography
Benoît Droin is the winemaker and owner-manager of Domaine Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin in Chablis, Burgundy, where the family has cultivated vines for nearly four centuries. He joined the domaine in 1999, took over production from his father Jean-Paul in 2014, and represents the 14th generation of Droin vignerons. The estate farms about 26 hectares across Petit Chablis, Chablis, nine Premier Cru sites, and five Grand Cru sites, with a portfolio centered on Chardonnay.
