i. Biography
Bob Foley is a Napa Valley winemaker and the founder of Robert Foley Vineyards, where he focuses on estate wines from Howell Mountain. He began his wine career in 1977 after graduating from UC Davis with degrees in viticulture and enology, and in 1992 became the founding winemaker for Pride Mountain Vineyards, a role he held through 2006. His work is associated with expressive, mountain-grown wines from Napa Valley and Spring Mountain, and his own winery operates on Howell Mountain in a cave facility completed in 2008.
