    Brandon Veitch is a Chicago-area chef whose career includes The Lobby at The Peninsula Chicago, where he was promoted to chef de cuisine in 2019 after starting with The Peninsula Hotels in 2015 at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. He later moved on to executive chef roles outside the Peninsula, including Goldmoor Inn in Galena, Illinois, and Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa. A 2020 Common Threads announcement said he graduated from Roosevelt University and Kendall College and had worked his way up at The Peninsula Chicago from sous chef to chef de cuisine.
