Brian Sprance is the Master Distiller at New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky, where he was promoted in January 2024 after more than a decade as Head Distiller. He has been with New Riff since its founding era in 2014, and the distillery credits his brewing background and mentorship under Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Famer Larry Ebersold with shaping New Riff’s whiskey-making approach.
