i. Biography
Grégory Vernant is the current head of the family-owned Neisson distillery in Martinique, where he is the owner and master distiller. He joined the distillery in 1995 and has been profiled as leading its agricultural, production, and commercial work, while also continuing the Neisson family’s rum-making legacy. He has spoken publicly about Neisson’s terroir-driven, bio-focused approach to rhum agricole and about building on nearly thirty harvests of cane work and distillation.
