i. Biography
Brice de la Morandière is the great-grandson of Joseph Leflaive and the nephew of Anne-Claude Leflaive, succeeding her as manager of Domaine Leflaive after her death in 2015. Previously an industrial executive with no initial wine training, he underwent formation at Institut Jules-Guyot in Beaune and now oversees the domaine's biodynamic practices across Puligny-Montrachet and Mâconnais vineyards totaling around 50 hectares. He leads expansions including new plantings in Mâcon and the négociant Esprit Leflaive producing high-end Burgundy wines.
