Christopher Barnum-Dann is the chef and owner of Localis in Sacramento, California, an intimate fine-dining restaurant serving a travel-inspired, seasonal tasting menu. He opened Localis in 2015 with restaurateur Chris Jarosz and later bought out the majority owner in 2016, becoming the chef-owner who also curates the wine program. Localis earned a MICHELIN Star and Barnum-Dann received the 2025 MICHELIN Guide California Sommelier Award.
