Claire Jarreau

Claire Jarreau is the head winemaker at Brooks Wine in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Born in Mississippi, she earned a chemistry degree at Appalachian State University and became the first graduate of its fermentation science programme before moving to Oregon in 2010. After harvest work in Austria, New Zealand and South Africa, she joined Brooks in 2014 and was promoted to lead its winemaking in 2024, overseeing the portfolio and grower relationships.
