Craig J. Bancroft is the Managing Director and director of wine at Northcote in Langho, Lancashire, where he has helped shape the property since joining in 1983 and is the ‘beating heart’ of the business. He draws on his wine knowledge for the wine list, while the site’s history page says he came from a London management training scheme to become Hotel Manager. He received the Hotel Cateys Outstanding Achievement Award and was named The Caterer’s Hotelier of the Year.
