In a district where inheritance can carry as much weight as technique, Dany Rolland brought an outside eye to the work of refining estates, resetting their shape, and tightening their identity. That perspective made her a steady, quiet part of the family’s wine projects.
Coming Up
University training at the University of Bordeaux gave Dany Rolland a formal base before she entered consulting work across numerous estates in the Fronsac region in Fronsac, Bordeaux region. That period, which continued until 1986, established a method rooted in observation, practicality, and close attention to the land itself. In 1986, Dany became co-owner of Château Fontenil, shifting from advising other properties to helping guide one of her own and moving into the center of the family’s Bordeaux work.

Co-ownership of Château Fontenil and the role of CEO of Rolland Collection place Dany Rolland at the operational core of the portfolio.
