David Grutman is the founder of Groot Hospitality and a Miami-based hospitality entrepreneur whose portfolio includes Komodo, Papi Steak, and Gekkō, as well as LIV and other nightlife and dining concepts. He is founder and owner of Groot Hospitality, and his group expanded from nightlife into restaurants, with Komodo described there as a top-selling independent restaurant in the United States.
