i. Biography
Chris Khalifa is the founder and CEO of Zooba, the Egyptian street-food restaurant brand that launched its first branch in Zamalek, Cairo, in March 2012. He is an Egyptian-American businessman and note that he started Zooba after leaving investment banking to build a refined, high-quality version of Egyptian street food. Zooba (Zamalek) has been credited as the original location for the concept and is associated with Khalifa as co-founder/founder across multiple restaurant references.
