Carrie Vik is the co-founder of Viña VIK in Millahue, in Chile’s Cachapoal Valley, where she and Alexander Vik began developing the estate in 2004 and later planted 327 hectares of vines across the property. Official Viña VIK materials describe the project as created by Alex and Carrie Vik to make one of the world’s best wines in Millahue, and third-party wine references identify Carrie Vik as a founder and owner of the estate. She is also described in industry interviews as the founder and visionary behind Vik Retreats, a family of luxury, art-centric hospitality properties in Uruguay, Chile, and Milan.
