i. Biography
David Rink is the chef and co-owner of OX in Darmstadt, which he opened with his brother Norman in November 2019 in the Martinsviertel. He is the kitchen lead and, in current listings, the chef of OX casual fine dining, where the concept centers on modern casual fine dining with regional, frankophilic-mediterranean, and Asian influences. In 2022, OX received Darmstadt’s first Michelin star, and Rink has been profiled as the starred chef behind the restaurant’s cuisine.
