Later reporting identified Sauf Imprévu as a bistronomic restaurant and bar à vins run by Félix Gagnaire, who is also described as the son of chef Pierre Gagnaire. The Michelin Guide lists Sauf Imprévu at 40 rue Pierre-Corneille in Lyon, confirming the restaurant identity and location.
