i. Biography
Fermín Núñez is the Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Austin restaurants Suerte, Este, and Bar Toti. Born in Torreón, Mexico, he moved to Austin and built his career at prominent kitchens including Launderette, La Condesa, and Uchiko before co-founding Suerte. Núñez has received significant national recognition for his masa-driven and coastal Mexican cuisine, including being named a Food & Wine Best New Chef and earning multiple James Beard Award nominations.
