Florence Cathiard and Daniel Cathiard have owned Château Smith Haut Lafitte since 1990. They moved to the Pessac-Léognan estate after an extensive renovation and built its wine, environmental and hospitality programs around the goal of expressing the estate's terroir in both red and white wines.
