i. Biography
Francesco Calò is an Italian master pizzaiolo, chef, and restaurateur originally from Oria, Apulia. In 2016, he founded Via Toledo Enopizzeria in Vienna, leading it to win European acclaim including 50 Top Pizza awards. In December 2024, he opened Avenida Calò in Rome's Flaminio district, merging contemporary long-fermented doughs with dedicated wine pairings.
