François Saint-Lô

François Saint-Lô is a Loire Valley winemaker based in Berrie, in the Saumur/Anjou area of France, whose first vintage under his own name was 2012. He is originally from Normandy, began in restaurants in Paris, then worked in wine at Montpellier before years of travel and training with natural-wine producers, including Olivier Cousin and Éric Dubois, before establishing his own domaine in Berrie. His wines are described as natural, low-intervention bottlings from roughly 4 to 4.5 hectares, with a focus on Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Pineau d’Aunis, Grolleau, and Gamay.
