In Montagny-les-Buxy, the work starts in the vineyard, where hand harvesting, parcel-by-parcel vinification, and soil care all do different jobs for the same result: keeping each site readable in the glass. At Domaine Feuillat-Juillot, Françoise Feuillat-Juillot applies that discipline as winemaker and manager, holding fruit character and terroir in the same frame without pushing either too hard.

Training at Paris and the University of Dijon gave Françoise Feuillat-Juillot a structured base for a practice built on precision. Françoise has spoken plainly about that pressure: "We had low harvests in 2011 and 2012 due to hail, fortunately they were still good quality. 2013 wasn’t great for morale given the bad weather throughout the year, but I think the wines are open, fresh and tasty."
