i. Biography
Franz W. Faeh is the Culinary Director at Gstaad Palace in Gstaad, Switzerland, where he has led the kitchen since 2016 and oversees a team of more than 50 chefs. He completed his apprenticeship at Gstaad Palace from 1978 to 1981, later spent 13 years with the Regent group in Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Bangkok, and returned to Gstaad after building an international career. He was named "Chef of the Year" by the Karl Wild Hotelrating 2025/26 and was admitted to the Mérite Culinaire Suisse.
