Gary Gauba is a San Francisco Bay Area entrepreneur associated with Saison Hospitality, the joint venture formed in 2016 alongside chef Joshua Skenes, winemaker Mark Bright, and restaurateur Jag Kapoor. Official Saison Hospitality materials identify him as a serial entrepreneur and restaurateur connected to the group that includes Saison, Angler San Francisco, and Angler Los Angeles. A 2025 San Francisco Chronicle report says Gauba and Jag Kapoor took an ownership stake in Saison in 2016, and Saison’s official site continues to list him as Chairman of Saison Hospitality.
