Gernot's signature wines include Salzberg, Gabarinza, Freyheit, Graue Freyheit, and Naked Red. Together, they map the estate’s range and point to a style that values balance, clarity, and an unforced reading of place.

In Their Words “It was an easy decision, even if it was not easy to understand from the very beginning. All the biodynamic wines we tried were very convincing, we could feel much more spirit and vibrancy in these wines.” “We feel more freshness, more vibrancy, more life in our wines from growing on living soils followed by a natural style of winemaking. Doing less gives more taste.”

Recognition

Respekt-BIODYN came in 2009. For Gernot Heinrich, that recognition followed the 2006 conversion and registered a decision already being carried in the vineyard and cellar. Demeter followed in 2019. Taken together, the 2009 and 2019 credentials mark a long-running commitment rather than a short-term adjustment: biodynamic farming remained the framework for the estate’s work over time.
