i. Biography
Giorgio Bargiani is an Italian bartender from Pisa who joined The Connaught Bar in London in 2014 as a bar-back after earlier work in local cocktail bars and at venues including Splendido in Portofino and Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxford. He rose to Head Mixologist in 2019 and is now cited as Assistant Director of Mixology at The Connaught Bar, where he helps lead the drinks program and mentors the team. In 2023, he received the International Bartender of the Year award at Tales of the Cocktail's Spirited Awards, and in 2026 he won the Altos Bartenders' Bartender Award at Europe's 50 Best Bars.
