i. Biography
Gordon Glanz is the founder and distiller of Odd Society Spirits in East Vancouver, a small-batch craft distillery on Powell Street that produces whiskey, vodka, gin, and other spirits. Gordon holds an MSc in brewing and distilling from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Gordon learned distilling further at Springbank’s Whisky School in Campbeltown. He is an owner-operator of the distillery that he opened in 2013 with his wife Miriam Karp and collaborator Joshua Beach.
