Harald Wohlfahrt

Harald Wohlfahrt is a German chef most closely associated with the Schwarzwaldstube at Hotel Traube Tonbach in Baiersbronn, where he served as Küchenchef from 1980 to 2017. He became one of Germany’s most decorated chefs, earning and sustaining three Michelin stars for the restaurant for 25 consecutive years and later transitioning out of day-to-day kitchen leadership. Reports on his departure note that Torsten Michel took over leadership of the Schwarzwaldstube while Wohlfahrt remained connected to the Traube Tonbach for select events and projects at least during the transition period.
