i. Biography
Hugo Araújo is the executive chef at Solar dos Presuntos in Lisbon, where he has led the kitchen since June 2021 and helped oversee the restaurant’s post-renovation relaunch with a larger dining room and updated culinary operations. A 2024 report says he is Lisbon-born, grew up in Trás-os-Montes, studied hotel management at the Estoril hospitality school, and worked in Angola before returning to Portugal.
