Isidoro González is the founder and owner of La Super-Rica Taqueria in Santa Barbara, California, which he opened in 1980 after leaving a career teaching college Spanish. He is a Jalisco native, and the restaurant’s menu was inspired by tacos al carbon and taqueria traditions he encountered in Mexico City.
