Jean-Claude Bourgueil is a French-born chef associated with Restaurant Im Schiffchen in Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth, where he has been at the helm since 1977. The restaurant says he has been its creative ambassador of French cuisine and notes that it held three Michelin stars from 1987 to 2006. He is the doyen of Düsseldorf fine dining at Im Schiffchen.
