i. Biography
Jean-Louis Dutraive is the vigneron and winemaker associated with Domaine de la Grand'Cour in Fleurie, Beaujolais, a family estate purchased by his father Jean Dutraive. He joined the domaine in 1977 and took over full responsibility in 1989; sources also is a pioneer of Beaujolais natural and low-intervention winemaking, with organic farming and native-yeast fermentations central to his approach.
