i. Biography
Jean-Marie Raveneau is the longtime winemaker and co-director of Domaine François Raveneau in Chablis, Burgundy, where he joined the family domaine in 1978 after studying at the Lycée Viticole in Beaune. He is associated with the domaine’s holdings in Grand Cru sites such as Blanchot, Les Clos, and Valmur, and Premiers Crus including Montée de Tonnerre, Vaillons, Butteaux, Chapelot, Montmains, and Forêt.
