Jean-Philippe Masclef is the Technical Director at Château Haut-Brion, where he has worked since 1988 alongside the cellarmaster, focusing on winemaking as a scientist and oenologist to create memorable great wines through annual blending exercises. He collaborates closely with Jean-Philippe Delmas, Deputy Managing Director, contributing to the production of Château Haut-Brion, La Mission Haut-Brion, and Château Quintus as part of the Dillon estates. His approach emphasizes perfection in viticulture and vinification, resulting in balanced wines even in challenging vintages like 2022.
