Jean-Baptiste Ponsot is the winemaker and proprietor of Domaine Jean-Baptiste Ponsot in Rully, Burgundy, where he took over the family estate in 2000 at age 20. He is the grandson of founder Lucien Ponsot, and the domaine traces its origins to 1954; he manages 8.8 hectares in Rully and Chassagne-Montrachet, producing mostly white wines with a smaller share of reds.
