Jean-Claude Lapalu

Jean-Claude Lapalu is a Beaujolais winemaker based in Saint-Étienne-la-Varenne, where he founded Domaine Jean-Claude Lapalu in 1996 after taking over family vines. His domaine farms roughly 9 to 12 hectares across Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Beaujolais-Villages, and Beaujolais, and his wines are associated with organic farming and low-intervention natural-wine methods. He is widely described as a leading figure in the natural-wine movement in Beaujolais.
