Jean-Pascal Lacaze is a French-born winemaker in Chile best known for Domus Aurea, the Cabernet Sauvignon from Clos Quebrada de Macul/Viña Quebrada de Macul in the Maipo Valley. Source materials state that he joined the Domus Aurea project in 2003 and that the wine’s critical reputation grew under his work, with repeated 90+ point reviews and high international acclaim. Some sources also is a consulting winemaker and founder of related wine businesses in Chile, but the Domus Aurea connection is the anchored identity.
