Jean-Paul Autard is the winemaker and owner of Domaine Paul Autard in Courthézon, in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône area of France. The estate states that he has led the family domaine since age 17 and that he applies a winemaking approach centered on phenolic ripeness, full destemming, and barrel aging. He is carrying on the family tradition established by Paul Autard, the domaine’s founder.
