i. Biography
Jean-Paul Zusslin is the 13th-generation winemaker at Domaine Valentin Zusslin in Orschwihr, Alsace, where he took over the family estate with his sister Marie in 2000. He is responsible for the technical direction of the domaine, including vineyard and cellar work, and the estate farms biodynamically across sites including Bollenberg, Clos Liebenberg, and Grand Cru Pfingstberg. Sources also describe him as having trained in viticulture and oenology in Beaune and gained experience in Burgundy and at Domaine Zind-Humbrecht and Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss.
