i. Biography
Jean-Pierre Kuntzer is the longtime winemaker and former proprietor of Domaine Saint-Sébaste in Saint-Blaise, Neuchâtel, a family estate founded by his father Jean-Claude Kuntzer in 1954 and taken over by Jean-Pierre in 1992. The domaine spans about 20 hectares across several communes around Lake Neuchâtel and has been cultivated biodynamically since 2012; it was certified Demeter in 2015. By 2024, the business was being prepared for transfer to the third generation, with Elodie and Ludovic identified as the successors, while Jean-Pierre and Anja had already passed on operational knowledge.
