Coming Up
The development track ran through Winston Churchill High School and St. Paul's School, then through four varsity seasons with Princeton Tigers men's ice hockey team in Princeton University (1995–1999), where Jeff Halpern sharpened the college version of his game before entering the professional ranks. The next stage was Washington Capitals (1999–2006), with a European interlude at HC Ajoie in Switzerland (2004–2005) and Kloten Flyers in Switzerland (2004–2005), followed by the captaincy at Washington Capitals (2005–2006).
