Jorge Serôdio Borges

Jorge Serôdio Borges is the co-owner, founder, and winemaker of Wine & Soul in Portugal's Douro Valley and a co-founder of the Dão project M.O.B. A fifth-generation member of a Douro and Port-producing family, he studied enology and worked with leading quintas before founding Wine & Soul with Sandra Tavares da Silva in 2001. He also makes M.O.B. with Jorge Moreira and Francisco Olazabal. Borges was the principal winemaker at Quinta do Passadouro for 20 years, ending that role on July 31, 2019 after the estate's acquisition by Quinta do Noval.
